Approximately 90,000 people are reported missing every year in Japan – many of them between 16-30 yrs old. Most are eventually found or returned home. However, tens of thousands choose to remain missing driven by guilt, embarrassment, poverty and fear, in a growing phenomenon known locally as Jōhatsu (literally meaning ‘evaporation’)

Lost and Found is a gritty yet heartwarming adventure drama about Richie, a lonely Singaporean gamer who falls for a mysterious player known only as « Sakura. » After months of late-night gaming and heartfelt chats, he makes the impulsive decision to fly to Japan to meet her. However, Tokyo holds more secrets than he ever imagined.
